Transitioning to Digital Catch Reporting

What changes are being made?

We have identified ways to simplify catch reporting processes for the commercial fishing industry. Some changes are already in place, and some will take time to implement, but be assured that things are moving quickly.

Stakeholder engagement

Input will be sought from stakeholders on all changes to catch reporting. This will come primarily through representation on the Fisheries Digital Transition Project Coordination Group and Steering Committee. Where changes are considerable, the Steering Committee may suggest further engagement before implementation.

Updated catch reporting processes

See the table below to view changes to monitoring dockets and associated forms.  Instructions will be communicated via your representative body, and through regular updates in the TSIC newsletter.
