A Bill to amend Tasmania's Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994 and related legislation has been drafted and is available for comment. The Bill is intended to make various minor improvements to the legislation.
An Explanatory Paper about the Environmental Legislation (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill 2019 is available, which summarises the more significant amendments and provides a detailed description of all clauses.
