  • AgCareers​ - is an online job board for agricultural careers with a search function and ​ability to register a candidate profile.​ 

​Skills develop​​ment and training​​

  • Agriskills Entry Program - This program is a great starting point if you are looking for a job in the Agriculture or Production Horticulture industries.​​ It provides job-ready skills sought after by employers. The program is a pathway into employment and potential transition into either a Certificate II traineeship or Certificate III apprenticeship. 

    If you have lost your job due to COVID-19 you may be eligible to access up to $3,000 through Rapid Response Skills Training Support funding.

  • AgCardAgCard is a pre-induction tool developed by Primary Employers Tasmania.  This pre-farm employment induction program is no cost for employees to complete the practical training prior to 30 June 2021. It is designed to assist farm employers and employees identify and manage workplace health and safety risks, and provide essential awareness and understanding of WH&S procedures and human resources principles.

    Once you have completed both of the course units, you will receive a Primary Employers Tasmania’s AgCard Certificate of Completion you can include this as part of your resume. This will ensure that all employers and employees are on the same page for all future farm safety conversations.
