Species Profiles for Comment

​​As part of the process for assessing whether a species should be added to the list of species that can be imported into Tasmania, the community is invited to view all new Species Profiles. Under the Policy and Procedures for the Import, Movement and Keeping of Vertebrate Wildlife in Tasmania, the species profile is posted for a 20 day public comment period on the DPIPWE website.

We invite comment on the technical information provided in the Species Profile. Animal welfare issues are assessed under the Animal Welfare Act 1993 - see Animal Welfare for more information.
