Macquarie River Catchment (above Lake River)

The purpose of the draft Plan is to provide a framework for managing the water resources of the Macquarie River catchment in accordance with the objectives of the Water Management Act 1999.

The Plan area is the Macquarie River catchment above the junction with the Lake River. It includes the catchments for the Elizabeth, Isis and Blackman Rivers.

Draft Amended River Clyde Water Management Plan - release for Public Consultation

The draft amended Plan is the product of the review and amendment of the current River Clyde Water Management Plan 2005 and provides a number of proposed practical improvements in the management framework for the water resources of the River Clyde catchment, in accordance with the objectives of the Water Management Act 1999 and the State Policy on Water Quality Management 1997.

The draft amended Plan relates to the water resources of the River Clyde catchment (below the outlet to Lake Crescent), being tributaries of the River Clyde and the River itself, and the groundwater resources of this catchment.

The period for making representations will extend until close of business 20 March 2017.
