Northern Territory

Land for Wildlife - Alice Springs Since its establishment in Victoria in 1981, Land for Wildlife has been adopted by all states with nearly 9,000 registrations nationally. Litchfield Shire recently introduced the scheme to the Territory and now Alice Springs residents can join this network of landholders and share the benefits.

Land for Wildlife - Darwin Region

Queensland

Land For Wildlife - South East Queensland In South-Eastern Queensland over 2500 registered members plus another 550 members working towards registration (as of June 2009) have embraced Land for Wildlife to help them manage habitats for wildlife on their properties. To date, over 45,000 hectares of habitat for wildlife has been protected with a further 2800 hectares being restored.

New South Wales

Land for Wildlife - New South Wales Land for Wildlife in New South Wales is co-ordinated by the Community Environment Network (CEN) in partnership with the Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC). The CEN works with interested local organisations who run local Land for Wildlife Programs.

Victoria

Land for Wildlife - Victoria Land for Wildlife in Victoria is a State government program supporting landholders or managers who provide habitat for native wildlife on their land. Over 5,900 properties of different kinds are currently involved. This site offers a wide range of information and more is on the way. Meet some of the members and see what they are doing. There will be advice on planning, management and on-ground works and profiles of some of our unique Victorian species.

Western Australia

Land for Wildlife - Western Australia Land for Wildlife in Western Australia is a voluntary scheme that aims to encourage and assist private landholders to provide habitats for wildlife on their property, even though the property may be managed primarily for other purposes.
