Harvest Area Status
The Tasmanian Shellfish Quality Assurance Program (TSQAP) will occasionally close growing areas for short periods due to environmental conditions such as heavy rainfall or toxic algal blooms. During these periods harvesting is not permitted.
The TSQAP maintains a list of Approved and Approved Conditional growing areas in Tasmania and their current harvesting status:
