Tasmanian Vegetable Industry Facilitator Report
The Tasmanian Vegetable Industry Facilitator (VIF) was appointed in 2010 for a term of 18 months to audit the six goals contained in the Tasmanian Vegetable Industry Strategic Plan 2007-2012 (copy attached below) and facilitate their implementation.
An initiative of the McCain Community Task Force, the project was funded by the Tasmanian Government and managed by the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment with in-kind support from the Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association (TFGA).
Finalised in late 2012, the Vegetable Industry Facilitator's Final Report offers some valuable insights into the State's vegetable industry and makes a number of recommendations to achieve the goals identified in the Tasmanian Vegetable Industry Strategic Plan 2007-2012.
